The two-way FSI analysis for rotor blade in an axial compressor of an industrial Gas Turbine was carried out. Computations contain CFD-analysis, consideration of static gas-dynamic and centrifugal forces upon a rotor blade of the compressor’s third stage, and modal analysis. The main purpose of the paper is to find out possible reasons for the rotor blade to collapse.
