The present research is aimed at investigation of the effectiveness of the associative method depending on its implementation conditions. The experiment on associative methodology carried out within 3 years with 334 participants is described. The data on every stage of the experiment is provided taking into account its direct and reverse procedures. The provided tables show the experiment results under the influence of various distractors and the conditions changed specifically for this experiment. Through the comparative analysis of the predicted and real results, the reasons of association failures, drawbacks and advantages are represented in the work of one particular group or individually. On the experimental grounds, the strategies of choosing associations to any lexical material within the long-term research, are discussed as well as the implementation recommendations are given. The research can be implemented in order to develop cognitive abilities and improve any speech disorders. It becomes obvious that the associative method has its pragmatic value.
