The article considers the possibility of a standard method using for calculating the transmitted torque of an end magnetic coupling with thin highly coercive permanent magnets having a thickness of 4.5 mm and magnets with a thickness of 9 mm composed from two thin magnets with a thickness of 4.5 mm each. The range of variation of the air gap between the magnets in the half couplings of the end coupling is from 1 to 20 mm. The results of the study made it possible to introduce a correction coefficients into the methodology for calculating the transmitted torque of an end magnetic coupling with thin magnets. It is noted that the end magnetic couplings are used with an air gap size between the magnets of the coupling halves from 5 to 12 mm.
