In order to find the values of the loads acting on the drive elements of the radial forging machine (RFM), the problem for determining of the forging force of bars with different feeds using the method of joint solution of approximate equations of equilibrium and plasticity of metal in the deformation zone is considered. A system of differential equations describing the dynamics of the drive of the lever RFM is compiled, and the solution is implemented. The results obtained allow us to determine the parameters of lever RFM for performing of specific tasks of plastic metal working.
