In recent years, the widespread use of the concept of “universal competencies” in educational practice has stimulated a number of psychological and pedagogical studies. These studies are aimed at identifying the psychological and pedagogical essence of this concept and methods for the development of universal competencies among students. The purpose of the article is summarizingthe resultsof the theoretical and empirical research of the authors (2019-2021), devoted to the identification of the features of the development of universal competencies in future civil engineers using interactive teaching methods.
