Possibility of simplifying calculation of the facet based model for calculation of reflected from the underlying surface echo for autonomous radars and radio navigation systems are investigated. Simulation results of operation of linear frequency modulation radio altimeter with forming of the signal beasts without take into account phase relationships of individual partial signals are received.
