The implementation of artificial intelligence is becoming an integral part in the formation of a strategy for the further development of banking institutions in the face of fierce competition and changing consumer preferences. In the article the directions for the implementation of artificial intelligence in the banking sector was considered, their advantages for banking institutions were highlighted. Based on the study, a number of indicators were proposed that can be used to assess the financial effect of the introduction of artificial intelligence in Russian banks.
