The article considers one of approaches to solving the problem of increasing the responsibility of pupils for their health and physical self-perfection. The results of long-term work reveal the factors and conditions that promote formation of senior pupils by the subjects of activity and self-development in the process of physical training lessons. Substantiation of motivational strategy of pupils' inclusion in achieving those tasks that are embraced by the innovation program of physical training is given.
