The article is dedicated to the history of development, current situation and problems of scientific activity in general. Special attention is paid to the main difficulties in writing research papers in recent decades, and the prospect of solving the problem of structuring scientific information and management in the research sphere through the development of appropriate tools is identified. The problems of excessive and superficial publication activity, verification and reproducibility of published scientific results, their applicability in production, authorship and plagiarism are becoming increasingly evident and require specific organizational steps. Due to the intensification of information flow, on the one hand, and automation of sorting large volumes of information, on the other hand, it is possible to synthesize these tendencies in the form of a scientist's working toolkit. Such a practical solution allows not only to systematize the accumulated scientific achievements, but also provides an opportunity for young scientists to orientate themselves in the scientific paradigm. The regulatory function of fixing the result also needs to be improved, scientific communication within the scientific community needs to be activated. A systematic and qualitative approach to scientific work can attract investors and producers, facilitate the process of production implementation of the results obtained, and create a working mechanism to stimulate scientific research.
