The authors analyse cultural exchanges between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan at the current stage. The paper is focused on defining the main types, specific features and factors of this cooperation.The authors also display the institutional structure of cooperation, as well as its dynamics and problems. The paper is based on the study of such primary sources as bilateral diplomatic documents, data from governmental and non-governmental organizations, field research, and Russian and Tajik media.
