The article deals with the analysis of the dynamics of strategies for post-University professional careers youth of quantitative and qualitative methods. It is argued that the formation of strategies for professional careers nowadays occurs under the the conditions of transformation of the model of professional self-determination. The author considers the essence of the transformation of the model of professional self-determination in changing the nature of the relationship between processes of professional career and professional self-determination. Interrelation of processes of professional career and professional identity is revealed through the action of the social mechanisms at the institutional-structural level and the level of individuals.
