The paper presents an EBSD-based study of structural and textural states of low carbon low allow steel samples that have undergone industrial Thermo-Mechanical Controlled Processing (TMCP) according to five experimental routes distinguished by hot-rolling temperatures and accelerated cooling intensities. The study establishes a correlation between processing parameters, structure and mechanical properties of the samples. The authors demonstrate that the near-optimal TMCP route is distinguished by hot-rolling temperature close to A 3 and highest cooling intensity.
