This article identifies how the characteristics (clarity, generalizability, semantic capacity, the ability to record discursive and non-discursive knowledge, empiricality, naturalness of occurrence, dynamics, interpretativeness) of representation as a type of concept are manifested in a synonymous picture of the world based on a generalization of ideas about sensuality in the consciousness of native speakers of Russian and which are represented in language units that enter into similarity relations.
