The paper presents the investigation of energy efficiency of refrigeration system based on a double-circuit vortex tube. The numerical model of the system under investigation implemented to the Python v. 2.7 is presented. The model was used for parametric analysis of the system. The minimum values of the refrigeration system characteristics required for its application in the construction field were estimated.
