The article examines a promising segment of the construction market associated with low-rise construction. Wall structures are one of the main elements of the house, as they affect parameters such as heat preservation in winter, the price of materials at home and the speed of construction. In order to identify the relationship between these three parameters, the authors selected the most widely used wall options in low-rise construction. For each of the variants, the heat transfer resistance was calculated. The authors have calculated labor costs based on state estimated standards and taking into account the costs of construction, installation of structures and prices of materials used, obtained from construction shops in the city of Yekaterinburg. The authors have compiled tables with the above parameters. The index of the ratio of heat transfer resistance and labor costs to the price of materials has been revealed. This makes it possible to take a reasonable choice of wall material that is most suitable for the planned budget, construction time and the required amount of heat preservation.
