Increasingly, modern burner devices of metallurgical furnaces are equipped with heat exchangers - recuperators and regenerators, which significantly reduces fuel consumption for heating metal. The power of regenerative burners is usually small, since it depends on the heat capacity of the regenerative nozzle and its mass. Placing a massive regenerative nozzle in the burner is problematic. In this regard, it was proposed to use containers with fusible metal inside as a regenerative nozzle and use their latent melting heat in heat exchangers of regenerative burners. The design of a regenerative burner with a nozzle consisting of a number of sections containing metals with different melting points in containers has been developed.
