This article is devoted to the problems’ analysis of Russian immigrants’ perception of spiritual and moral atmosphere in Western countries at the time of «cold war». Using the materials of Russian and foreign archives, immigrants’ periodic print, works by noted thinkers of Russian abroad, the authors show what a reflection was found for the concept «European sunset» by Russian immigrant public idea.
