The article examines the influence of memory on the formation of personal identity in the concept of Karl Jaspers. It explores how Jaspers considers the concepts of time, past, present, and future, as well as experience and freedom of choice in the context of forming personal identity. The article also considers existential aspects of memory, such as inner experience and continuity of time, and how they affect the process of forming personal identity. The goal of the article is to discuss how memory can influence the formation of personal identity and how understanding Karl Jaspers’ concept. The article is of interest to philosophers, psychologists, and anyone interested in understanding the role of memory in the formation of personal identity.
