The article is devoted to the activities of the painting workshop of Helena Wolfsohn, one of the Dresden porcelain painting ateliers of the second half of the 19th century, a prominent representative of the era of historism in the European art industry. For the first time in Russian, information about the activities of the workshop is given, the artwork of the atelier, introduced into scientific circulation for the first time, presented in the collection of the Ekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts, is analyzed. The data presented allow us to draw a conclusion about historism as one of the important factors that contributed to the expansion of the range of art-industrial enterprises in Europe.
