The article describes the possibility of an alternative understanding of the archaic images of mythology as a trickster and as a culture hero. It is shown that historical time was one of the most important conditions for forming the archetypical basis of the human race of the Archaic era. And the same way mythological stories about trickster and cultural hero are considered. It is shown that these mythological stories are cross-cutting themes of the whole mythology of archaic. They reflect not only the formation but also continuity that causes the possibility of perception archaic as the era of mental, spiritual and historical layers of existence in the context of a sequence of stages and integrity.
