In this paper, synthesized and studied by portland of the following non-traditional raw materials: the rock of the Middle Urals felsite, limestone and fluorite (CaF2). The aim of this paper was to study the possibility of replacing the clay component on felsite in production of cement clinker. With the X-ray analysis studied the mineralogical composition felsites (35–40 % quartz, potassium-sodium feldspar 30–33 %, 30–33 % plagioclase, sericite up to 3–5 %). For the synthesis and determination of the strength characteristics of cement experienced the following composition was selected batch 0,95(80,96 % limestone + 19,04 % felsite) + 5 % fluorite. The use of a low-melting felsites instead of the clay component raw mixture will reduce the temperature of clinker to 1300 °C. The mineralogical composition of cement experienced 43,76 % (3CaO·SiO2)6(2CaO·SiO2)2CaF2; 37,44 % 3CaO·SiO2; 8,85 % 11CaO·7Al2O3·CaF2; 2,47 % 6CaO·Al2O3·2Fe2O3 and the rest other phases. Setting time of cement experienced were within normal limits. Most experienced cement after 28 days of hardening approaches the strength of the cement Nevyanski 500D0. Thus, this study shows that the use of aluminosilicate as the fusible component and iron felsites cements can be fired at low temperatures, such cements are quickly gaining strength without cracking and can be recommended for the energy efficient production of cement.
