The relevance of the research is determined by necessity of improvement of normative-legal base in the field of safety and labour hygiene and lack of proper regulatory control in the presence of overlapping regulatory requirements, contrary to the regulatory legal acts of different legal institutions that define the presence of redundant functions of the supervisory authorities. The implementation of the differentiation of the areas of legal regulation of the two supervisory authorities (Rostrud and Rospotrebnadzor) and the structure of the relevant regulatory legal acts should exclude duplication of identical and homogeneous regulatory norms and requirements. In this regard, it is necessary to constantly update and bring in line with the current legislation state regulatory requirements in the field of labor protection and sanitary and epidemiological norms and rules. This monograph presents an analysis of regulatory legal acts in the field of labor protection and occupational health in order to identify duplicate requirements and develop scientific and methodological provisions for updating mandatory regulatory requirements in the field of labor conditions and safety. The significance of the study is to bring it into compliance with the requirements of the current Russian legislation on labor protection and sanitary legislation, taking into account the elimination of duplicate norms and requirements in the Rules on labor protection and in the sanitary and epidemiological norms and rules.
