The article substantiates the necessity to study meaningful interaction of subsystems of an elite school and elite high education as a social mechanism of the reproduction of professional elite. The composite of social preconditions and contradictions is described which requires sociological analysis and formation the special branch of sociological knowledge in the sociology of education - sociology of elite education.
