Based on application of variation principle of minimum total power with the use of modern computing and software the problem of determining the metal forming and power parameters under rolling rail and H-beam profiles in the universal beam grooves is solved. Results of solution are presented mean complex engineering formulas designed to calculate roll pass schedule and rolling parameters of flange profiles.
