In this paper we look at the role of eternal images (eternal characters) of world literature in M.M. Kheraskov‟s poem «Pilgrims». We mark the differences in author‟s usage of these characters during narration and in addressing the reader, and describe Kheraskov‟s interpretation of the character Narcissus.
