The present study examines the terminology of the concept of «efficiency», approaches to achieving the effectiveness of the organization, as well as the results of a survey of more than one hundred financial respondents who expressed their opinion on the most effective approaches to achieving the efficiency of the enterprise. Conclusions confirming the necessity of forming the effectiveness of the activity using the reference approach are formulated.
