Gold cementation features from cyanide solutions with zinc electrolytic powders are studied. The investigated powders were obtained by alkaline solution electroextraction after zinc-containing dusts leaching. Cementation was carried out in two modes: under pressure (Merrill-Crow process) and in fluidized bed regime. It is established that experimental den- dritic powders are better (depth of gold extraction, consumption) than powders obtained by vapor condensation which is traditionally used in the gold extraction industry. The established regularities can be explained by the powders physical features obtained by electroextraction from alkaline solutions.
