Equilibrium conditions, a mechanism and kinetics of carbothermal synthesis reactions of mixed uranium and plutonium nitrides in a nitrogen flow have been examined. Kinetics equations of basic interconnected stages are presented. Simulation results make possible optimizing the carbothermal synthesis process of mixed uranium and plutonium nitrides in the nitrogen flow.
