This paper is devoted to the results of econometric research of the effects of foreign direct investment on innovative activity of Russian and Chinese enterprises. The main method of this research was econometric analysis based on the assessment of the logitmodels using panel data. Significant indicators characterizing the effects of foreign direct investment on the innovative activity of Russian enterprises were identified in the results from the empirical research. Also identified similarities and differences considered to influence Russian and Chinese enterprises.
