The article analyzes the problems of education and socio-cultural adaptation of children of migrants in Western European schools on research by education experts from the European Union. Showing learning difficulties and barriers to adaptation; discloses methods of research and everyday educational practices of migrant children; provides recommendations to address their learning and adaptation. It is concluded that the study of the Western experience is of particular importance in our country, for possible use in the process of emerging theories and practices of the education of children of migrants.
