Two technologies for preparing solid fuels for sintering are considered: joint crushing with sifting of burned siderite ore, which have less strength than the fuel itself, and its separate crushing and mechanical mixing with seeding. With the help of the derivational method, kinetics was studied and the kinetic equations of high-temperature combustion of coke breeze in a fuel-ore mixture obtained by different methods were compiled. Fractions of fuel having the highest combustible capacity under the conditions of the agglomeration process are established. From the results of the work it follows that the most effective way to reduce the amount of fines in the fuel, and consequently, some intensification of the burning process of large pieces is its joint crushing with additives having less strength.
