For combined combustion of solid and gaseous fuel in layer of aglosicht it is required mixing and clogging of initial materials, their laying on grate, initial heating of layer under incendiary mountain and ignition of solid fuel of charge, supply of poor gas-air mixture with air consumption factor more than 3.5 through special gas-air distribution device. Initial mixture of gases passing through hot layer of agglomerate of upper horizon is heated to ignition temperature (450 - 600 °C) with formation of active combustion zone of gaseous fuel at temperature of 1100 - 1150 °C with the length of 40 - 60 mm. The generated heat provides additional heating of the upper horizons of the layer to the required sintering temperature of the charge materials. Industrial tests of the HGRPprocess design on the АК-50 machine are shown that when combined fuel is used in the layer, the redox conditions are equalized according to its height and width with the possibility of increasing the productivity of the machine by 30 - 35 %. When switching to a combined fuel agglomerate, there is a steady tendency to increase the blast furnace productivity by 10 - 14 % on average, and to reduce the specific coke consumption for cast iron production by 8 %.
