In this paper the problem of optimal siting and sizing of distributed generation in distribution networks is examined. Single-criterion mathematical problem formulation with power loss minimization objective is considered. Case studies are provided to show the possibility of the proposed algorithm usage in application to siting and sizing of distributed generation.
