The paper presents complex scientific and technological solutions related to an effective bulk next generation steel plate production at integrated plants. Authors define next generation steel plate as critical duty steel plate each geometric element of which possesses a complex of physical and mechanical properties specified by customer. It is stated that lineal sections, surface elements and volume elements are to be used as geometric elements. Results of the research projects aimed at the development of scientific understanding of phase and structural transformations in steels are presented. Capabilities of the enterprise production and quality management system for PJSC «MMK» products are described. This system has allowed the facility to undergo a transition towards digital, highly efficient metal product production technologies.
