The investigation of the effect of temperature and strain rate on the hardening of titanium sponge. The method of upsetting of prismatic specimens with an initial density of 1.60 to 4.34 g/cm 3. at strain rates 0.1... 10 s -1 and temperatures of 20 and 300ºC. We obtain the graphs of the deformation resistance of these parameters. Deformation resistance increases with increasing density, the strain and strain rate and with the temperature is lowered. It was revealed that the effect of strain rate at 20ºC is stronger than at 300ºC.
