The paper considers the leitmotif of the disappearance in the aspect of making everything routing sustainable for the works by Y. V. Trifonov (on the example of the novel “Time and Place”, 1980). Appeal to the phenomenon of disappearance is determined by the biographical facts of the writer himself. “Shock” event such as disappearance changes the former way of life, but when repeating it is perceived as habitual, it becomes a part of everyday life. The article analyzes how in the last novel of the writer the disappearance ceases to be a “shock” and gradually grows into the everyday life. The analysis demonstrates that the disappearance becomes a “point source” (E. Husserl), on which the subsequent daily life is built. Semantics of the end inherent in the disappearance causes the appearance of symbols (platform) and precursors (cold, ice, darkness, etc.) of the loss. The disappearance promotes “the nudity” of the living space, makes previously “invisible” in obvious. Suddenness and unexpectedness of the disappearance, breaking the old life, leads to the formation of a dichotomy “timeless death - death in time” in the end of the novel, the analysis of which reveals the substantial-semantic component of disappearance.
