Constantly increasing competition lays corporate management under a necessity to create competitive advantages, in accordance with the principles of dynamism and durability. In this sense, the internal resources of an enterprise have high potential, as indicated by the resource-based theory. This article is devoted to uncovering the internal resources potential for the purpose of enhancing enterprise competitiveness. The aim of the research is to justify the effects of internal resource interactions as an enhancement factor for enterprise competitiveness. The subject of the research is the effects of internal resource interactions which encourage enterprise competitiveness growth. The methodological basis of the research is constituted by systemic and dynamic approaches. Scientific novelty stems from developing the relevant aspects of the system resource theory proposed by G.B. Kleiner. In particular, the research theoretically determines the appropriate use of the economic category “resource interaction”, identifies essential conditions for resource interactions, puts forward the idea of the key role of intellectual resources as the functional basis of the resource subsystems. It also explores and systematizes the effects of internal resource subsystems interactions. The study gives considerable attention to describing positive influence of these effects on high-quality growth related to the resource subsystems and the integrated resource complex of the enterprise. The paper presents a system dynamics model for improving competitiveness of the organization, reflecting the effects forcing enterprise resource development. The results of the research lead to a conclusion that the effects of internal resource subsystems interactions impact enterprise competitiveness. The theoretical significance of the research findings is that a new internal factor of enterprise competitiveness growth has been discovered and analyzed. The practical significance of the study is that its results and conclusions can be used by corporate management in developing a competitiveness strategy.
