SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to portable devices for storing electrical energy with improved energy characteristics, namely to the anode material of the lithium-ion current source and method of its manufacture. At the same time, a mixture of carbothermally synthesized silicon carbide fibres with a diameter of 50 to 300 nm and graphite particles with a particle size of no more than 50 mcm that have not reacted during carbothermal synthesis with a particle size of no more than 50 mcm is used as an anode material, for which the carbothermal reduction of quartz powder with a particle size of no more than 100 mcm is carried out at a temperature of 1550-1650° C for 200-400 min in a CO atmosphere, in which graphite powder with a particle size of not more than 50 mcm acts as a reducing agent, whereas in the resulting material, the mass ratio of graphite and quartz powders is at least 2:5. EFFECT: increased specific capacity and stability of the lithium-ion current source by reducing the volume expansion of the anode material, which is made from a mixture of graphite and silicon carbide powders. 2 cl, 4 dwg.
