O. Mandelstam's poetry of the 1930s is characterized by increased dialogicity, as evidenced by the appearance of autodialogue in his poems. A special form of autodialogue in the poetry of O. Mandelstam is “self-interrupting”. This article is devoted to the analysis of the functions and intonational features of "self-interruptions" in the verses of O. Mandelstam. This form of autodialogue allows you to make the lyrics extremely intimate, expose the very process of creating poetry, bring poetry as close as possible to a lively dialogue and express various emotions. Also, “self-interruptions” affect the melody of the verse, bringing it closer to colloquial speech.
