The basic tendencies of the iron ore sinter production enhancement in Russia are presented herein. It had been determined that a variety of technical solutions might be implemented at sintering plants of Russia (utilization of intensive mixers or replacement of battery cyclones with EPS’s). The alternative solutions shall be additionally engineered, particularly utilization of new sinter burden feed systems along with the development of new air exhauster design and pallet cars with 5 m width.
