The article substantiates the need for digital transformation of existing industrial relations in construction. The theoretical foundations of creating a cloud information and design environment (CIDE) that can become part of the digital ecosystem in construction are proposed. The issue of training engineering personnel for future employment in the conditions of the CIDE is reviewed.
