A method of estimating the temperature of the recrystallization onset using dynamic mechanical analysis is presented. The modulus of elasticity determined as a function of temperature is used as a measured value. The dependence contains the regions of large gradient of the elasticity modulus that are used to calculate the onset of recrystallization. When assessing the temperature of the onset of recrystallization using the developed procedure the rate of sample heating should be also taken into account.
