Indoctrination as a process of purposeful influence on the development of the individual in order to assimilate the values of culture and knowledge as a necessary condition for the reproduction of society in terms of content, goals and tasks is widely interpreted in terms of nonclassical way of philosophizing and value polystylism. Modernization of the educational system, carried out on the basis of the linear model of sociodynamics, actualizes the issues of the correspondence of the methodology, mechanisms and technologies of the educational process with the fundamentals of the culture of the Russian society, the traditions of the Russian system of indoctrination and education. The definition of the role and the significance of the indoctrination in the system of higher education seems necessary in terms of the ambivalent results of globalization.
