On the basis of media texts devoted to the three current events the following trends of contemporary Russian media discourse are being observed: construction of image of the internal enemy, which is perceived as «the enemy of the state»; polarization of the media discourse and, as a consequence, the media audience, sacralization of official ideology and mythology, as well as the destruction of rationality in the discourse of the media and the minds of the mass audience.
