This article consider the film work, devoted to life and creativity of M. Lermontov, analyzed the nature of the change director's and actor's approaches to implementation Lermontov's images on the TV and cinema screen during the XX century. As it knows, look to the figure of M. Lermontov changed, depending of the historical and cultural context. An important task of this article is identifying the main features of M. Lermontov's images for further study and more correct implementation.
