On the basis of original technical solutions, the Ural Machine Building Plant PJSC (PAO Uralmashzavod) restored decommissioned cold-rolled backup rolls for mill 1300 of a VIZ-Steel LLC (OOO VIZ-Stal) and mill 1400 of a Novolipetsk Iron and Steel Works PJSC (PAO NLMK), which is achievable for high operating frequencies. In the conditions of a shortage of rolled rolls, restoration of working capacity by an innovative method of banding with a service reserve increases the efficiency of rolled products and the quality of finished rolled products for almost all Russian metallurgical enterprises.
