The practical approaches of straightening rotors by stress relaxation method were considered. Practical results, confirming the residual deflection of the rotor after correction is determined by the steel relaxation characteristic, are provided. The correction features of rotors with extremely high residual deflection which maximum doesn’t coincide with the application place of the corrector force were considered.
