"A quarrel is a counter-directed interaction, when one of the parties, to the detriment of the other, consciously and actively performs speech actions that can be expressed in verbal aggression. The other party, as a rule, reacts in a certain way to this in the way of taking response speech actions. In a family quarrel, such opposing parties in this article are members of the family circle: mother-in-law-in-law, husband-wife, and mother-in-law-daughter-in-law. The article reveals the notion of "chronic family quarrel" as a communicative event, which has a dynamic character and scenario embodiment. The materials for analysis are dialogues of family quarrel recorded by the method of included observation. For the analysis selected dialogical fragments, representing the association of several replicas of the participants in a quarrel on a thematic psychological basis. The speech behavior of the participants in the quarrel can be described with the help of the terms "strategy" (the overall intent of the ultimate goal of communication) and "tactics" (specific speech moves that correspond to the overall strategy and facilitate the implementation of the communicative goal in a communicative event). The experience of communicative and pragmatic studies shows that these concepts serve as a reliable tool for describing one or several speech actions, as well as their totality in general."
