In the article the author analyzes the legislative issues regulating the sphere of waste management. Economically inefficient industrial waste management and accumulation of a large amount of household waste, high cost of transport logistics, low social responsibility of business the reasons that give rise to the problem of unauthorized dumps. The problem of unauthorized dumps is not only the storage of large amounts of household waste, such as paper, plastic, glass and other types of waste, but also the presence of hazardous waste that requires the use of special safe disposal technologies.
