There is one direction in modern poetry of Yekaterinburg, which was highlighted and explored in this article: the philological poetry. The main characteristics of this phenomenon were viewed in creation of the poets who belong to three different generations (Yu. Kazarin, O. Dozmorov, K. Komarov). It was demon-strated that philological vector in modern poetry of Yekaterinburg is formed by authors who have relevant (philological) education and often work in areas intersecting with this sphere. This affects problematics of poets' literary works. The main features of such poem-writers' poetics are deliberate dialog with several literary traditions, using special terminology, poetic self-definitions related with philology.
